Munnar & Kolukkumalai Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Munnar & Munnar Sightseeing

Travel from Madurai to Munnar and begin sightseeing after arrival. Visit Top Station, Kundala Dam, Echo Point, Cowboy Park, Mattupetty Dam, Photo Point and Rose Garden, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Munnar hills and tea plantations. After sightseeing, check in to the selected hotel in Munnar and relax for the night.

Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing & Suryanelli Camping

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and continue sightseeing in Munnar. After sightseeing, travel to Suryanelli and check in to the campsite at around 2:00 PM. At 3:00 PM, begin the trek and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery and panoramic views. Return to the campsite and relax. In the evening, enjoy dinner with a common campfire and music before spending the night in tents.

Day 3: Kolukkumalai Sunrise Jeep Safari & Trekking – Return Journey

Wake up early for an unforgettable Kolukkumalai sunrise experience. At around 4:30 AM, board the Jeep from the campsite for a thrilling ride to Kolukkumalai. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the scenic tea plantations, followed by sunrise trekking through the beautiful mountain trails. After completing the sunrise experience and trekking, return to the campsite by Jeep. Have breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Madurai.

Common campfire with music is included at the Suryanelli campsite.

Customers are requested to support eco-friendly tourism by avoiding plastic materials and helping us preserve the natural environment of our hill stations.
  • We will take care of necessary travel arrangements such as permits, e-passes and other required travel formalities wherever applicable.
  • Standard hotel check-in and check-out timings will apply. Early check-in may be provided subject to room availability and may be chargeable by the hotel. Any such additional charges can be paid directly to the hotel.
  • The vehicle provided for the tour is air-conditioned. However, please note that the air conditioning will not be operated when the vehicle is stationary or while driving through hilly terrains and ghat roads. This is to prevent engine overload and ensure the safety and smooth performance of the vehicle throughout the journey.
