The Booking Procedure of Karthi Travels

Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing Karthi Travels as your travel partner. Please check out the following guidelines in order to start a fruitful journey:

1. How can I book the tour?

Booking tour packages with Karthi Travels is an easy process. You just need to visit our office (or) send us a mail (or) by calling us and confirm your tours at an ease.

2. What is the Payment Procedure?

In order to instigate the booking, we request our customers to pay an advanced of 25% of the total cost of the package within the specified period. You will be required to clear your balance payments as mentioned in the ticket receipt. We want to inform that certain services such as luxury hotels, cruise bookings and extra facilities may require full payment of the package. You can contact us and get to know more details regarding the payment process.

3. How do I get the Confirmation of tour?

After the booking is registered, you will get the confirmation through email to your mail address. The confirmation email is sent within a quick span of time. You can check your confirmation mail and keep for further reference.

4. Payment Details

You can make payment through Account Payee Cheques / Demand Draft, Debit Card / Credit Card, UPI or by Cash. You need to know that the Debit / Credit Card will attract some service charges. Make sure to use them if you accept with the terms and conditions. All cheques and demand drafts should be made in favor of “Karthi Travels" and payable at Vellore.

Cancellation Policy of Karthi Travels

In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons we must be notified of the same. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

60 days prior to departure: 10% of the advance payment
45 days prior to departure: 20% of the advance payment
15 days prior to departure: 30% of the advance payment
07 days prior to departure: 50% of the advance payment
Less than 72 hours or no show: No refund

In case of peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).

Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our tender:

Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotels / property owners cancellation policy

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers / contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Our liabilities and limitations:

Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in Taxes, fuel cost, guide charges ect. – by Govt, the same would be charged as extra.
